We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to source us a reliable tradesperson for our renovation project. We registered and posted our needs, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade puts the emphasis on their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the legalese. Then, there's the terrible customer service that's about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to complain, but it's like pulling teeth.

Did Checkatrade Rip Us Off?

We thought we were doing the right move by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so legitimate with their qualified traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Right away, the communication from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to discuss the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up getting ripped off by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's support was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling angry and warn everyone against using them for your tradesman needs.

My experience with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I engaged a trader through their service to carry out some essential home repairs. They seemed legitimate at first, but it turned out a terrible ordeal.

Although I transferred the full amount upfront, the work was never done. Getting a response became impossible. It's been months, and I'm still left with a gaping read more hole where my sense of security once was.

Checkatrade has been useless throughout this whole process. They laughed at my plight. It feels like I've been robbed.
